Again this year, Undercurrents is co-hosting PADDLEFEST with our partners.

Factory Representatives from many of our boat suppliers will be on hand with lots of demo boats. So far, the following brands have confirmed that they will be attending:

• Current Designs Kayaks
• Wenonah Canoes
• Clipper Canoes
• Advanced Elements Kayaks
• Old Town Kayaks
• Ocean Kayak

There will also be representatives from other retailers and some of the brands they sell. This is your once-a-year to test-drive boats head-to-head from a variety of manufacturers!

Besides the demo, there are introductory lessons in canoeing and kayaking offered by certified instructors from paddling schools (including Rocky Mountain Paddling Centre!) and clubs in Calgary. There are also land-based programs from Leave No Trace and Bow Waters Canoe Club.

Last year, PADDLEFEST was a great event, and this year looks to be even better!
