REGISTRATION IS OPEN for the 2nd Annual Alberta Paddlefest, July 11-13 2008.

Hosted by Alberta Whitewater Association (AWA) in conjunction with Alberta Recreational Paddling Association (ARCA), Alberta Paddlefest is oriented towards newer paddlers and those who have never paddled.  There will be programs in beginner flatwater canoeing, river kayaking and Learn 2 Paddle sessions, as well as in Instruction, Leadership, Rescue and Safety Skills.  Evening activities will include film, presentations and social time.  This is a great opportunity for you and your family to take lessons or improve skills.

Cost is $100 per adult or $75 per child under 18 and includes instruction, camping, BBQ dinner Saturday and breakfast Sunday. Demo boats available to try and equipment available for BEGINNER lessons. Located at Mukwah Tours SW of Sundre at the confluence of Red Deer and Panther Rivers.

Undercurrents is sponsoring the breakfast and bring demo boats to "test-drive!"
