The show will be very interesting if you have never seen a natural river altered. There are also shots of a completely manmade river being altered. It is all kind of cool.
What the TV program does not show is all the work that went on beforehand by Chuck Lee and the AWA. This project had a $200,000 budget. There was lots of fund-raising, grant submitting, planning and permit getting that had to happen before any work could even begin. It was a two year project! Big thanks are due to Chuck and the AWA! Also, many thanks to Mark Taylor of RMPC, who along with Chuck took time off from work (weeks!) to commit to the construction phase of the project. Thanks !
