Certification Maintenance

Take a SUP course with Undercurrents!

Description:

Your Paddle Canada instructor certification is valid for a maximum of 4 years! A certification maintenance (CM) clinic is the fastest and easiest way to satisfy your professional development requirement. These CM clinics are your opportunity to learn the newest teaching and paddling techniques, review the performance standards for your students, and spend the day sharing with your instructor-colleagues.

Maintaining your instructor certification allows you to offer Paddle Canada–sanctioned skills courses and to use the Paddle Canada name and logo, per the Paddle Canada Logo & Trademark Policy. You are not allowed to call yourself a Paddle Canada instructor unless you maintain your certification!

Paddle Canada recognizes that its strength is active instructors. Active instructors teach courses, maintain their skills and engage in continuing professional development. Paddle Canada supports active instructors through the regular process of instructor certification maintenance.

Expected Outcome:

At the end of this interesting day-long clinic you will be more energized about instructing and have something new. Your professional development requirement will be completed for the next 4 years.

Instructor Student Ratio:

1:9 (MAX) to ensure you of the best instructional experience possible!
